Women's Asia Cup: Pakistan qualifies for semi-finals after India's win over Nepal

 

Pakistan women's football team qualified for the 2024 Women's Asian Cup final after India defeated Nepal by 82 runs at the Dambulla International Stadium in Rangiri on Tuesday.

At 178/3 in 20 overs, India are in a good position to progress to the semi-finals. The bowlers restricted Nepal to 96/9. India had also beaten Pakistan and UAE before.

Feroza scored 62 runs with 8 fours and 55 balls while Muneeba contributed 37 runs with 30 deliveries and 4 boundaries.

Pakistan also became the first team in the history of the Women's T20 Asian Cup to win by 10 wickets.

The UAE women's team failed to get off to a good start as they continued to lose wickets after being asked to bat first.

Captain Esha Oza (16 points 26) and Sursa Satish (40 points 36) were the top two scorers of the UAE team. Apart from these, only Khush Sharma (13) 12 points) scored two goals.

For Pakistan, Sadia Iqbal, Nashra Sandhu and Tuba Hassan took two wickets each while captain Nida Dar (Nida Dar) took one wicket.
